It's hip, it's jazzy .. I had to turn the volume down on my speakers when Aerosmith cranked up. Nice job.

May I ask .. why?

Howard Lovy said...

Why? Well, why does mankind reach for the stars? Not because it is easy, but because it is hard. And because I wanted to finally use the iMovie program that came with my Mac.

Another rebel with a clue! Kudos on supporting the revolution. Mac users may be a small group but we will have the capability to rule the world when the "Big One" (ie Windows virus) hits. Viva la Mac!

I have not watched the video yet. I'll wait and download it at home tonight.

Still running silent and deep.

Calm down, Smith. A computer is just a tool. It's how you wield it that matters. You can do just as many cool and groovy things with (insert your OS of choice) as you can with OS X.

Now hush. You're giving away our competitive advantage. Sheesh next you'll be proclaiming the benefits of LISP.

Can anyone post a link to the video of the climber used at the beginning of this video? I've never seen it before, and it looks pretty interesting.
Thanks!

Sure. Here you go.

If I may elaborate? On November 12th 2004, Liftport scaled a 290 ft building at MIT with a lifter prototype. Driving snowstorm and the thing worked flawlessly. Several times.

Wow, I'd never seen that video either.
I got chills watching that.
2018 will be my 40th year.
I know what I want for my birthday that year.
All aboard.
Yeah, I know, cargo first, me later.

Also, where was Willy Wonka's last scene...the red button?
